Sports Day 2022

After the cultural spectacle “Easter-Vishu-Eid 2022” it is now time to get moving. We are happy to announce the annual Sports Day on 12th of June at Fürstenrieder Str. 159, 81377 München. This time it will be double the fun because 4 teams (formed out of the registered participants) will be battling it out for the KSM Sports cup. There will be track and field events for all age groups along with the popular event of last year – Obstacle race.

So pull out your track gear and visit our store to register! Please note that the registration is for a family. You can mention the name of your family members who will participate when you check out. The event is free for members and non members have to pay a nominal charge of 5 euros per family.

Teams will be formed from the registered participants ensuring an equal distribution of all age groups.

Easter-Eid-Vishu 2022

The first live event of the year 2022 is round the corner. Easter-Eid-Vishu celebrations will be held on 7th May at Willi-Graf-Gymnasium, Munich. Ticketing will start on the 20th of April. [Make sure you got your entry pass for the event from our store]

Women’s Day 2022

KSM is happy to announce this year’s Women’s day celebrations on 19 March.

The celebrations will begin at 15.00 with a fun session of bowling at Dream Bowl Unterfoehring. This will be followed by a group dinner at one of the city restaurants. And finally let your hair down at one of the happening clubs in Munich.

The entry charges will cover the costs of bowling. The cost of dinner/club entry to be borne by the participants.

Christmas New Year dinner

No celebration is complete without some yummy food. KSM is happy to announce that you can order your choice of non-vegetarian and vegetarian food and pick it up at select locations on the 16th of January.

Please visit the store to place your order by 12th January.

Christmas New Year celebrations

KSM is happy to announce that the Christmas and New Year celebrations will be organised this year by the Youth wing of the Samajam.

Because of the current regulations we cannot conduct the event in the hall as initially announced. Instead it will be an online event and will be streamed on the KSM Youtube channel. Please also note the change in date – the online event will take place on the evening of 16th January.

You can record the video of your program in the comfort of your home and share it with us before 10th of January.

KSM Football Tournament 2021

This event is postponed due to currently surging COVID19 cases in Munich.

KSM is happy to announce the annual football tournament for all Malayalees in Munich is scheduled to take place on November 28. Everyone with an interest in playing football is invited to take part in the tournament irrespective of your game skills.

The event will take place in an indoor football court and will adhere to the recommended COVID19 guidelines.

Since 2017, the tournament is hosted in the loving memory of Jijo Parookkaran, who left us all a little too soon.

Onam 2021

The highly awaited event of 2021 is finally here – Onam Celebrations! After a long gap, here is the opportunity to meet other Malayalis in Munich and celebrate Onam, the festival of togetherness. The event will be held on 2 October 2021 at Willi-Graf-Gymnasium. Entry will be based on strict COVID protocols (3G rule – entry restricted to Vaccinated, Recovered or Tested individuals only). Sports Day 2021

After 17 months of lockdown and online programs, Kerala Samajam Munich is proud and excited to announce the first outdoor event of 2021 – Sports Day. The event will be conducted on 25th of July at Fürstenrieder Str. 159.

You can register yourself for the event here. Because of the the strict regulations and keeping the safety of all participants in mind, we are restricting the number of participants to 100 (including viewers). We will be following a new format this year which we are sure will be exciting for all! This will be a family event with something in store for all.

Register yourself and your family before the 18th of July so that we can make all the necessary arrangements for a safe and fun event.

Keralathinoppam – COVID19 relief

Thank you very much for your generous contributions to the fund-raising campaign to support the COVID-19 situation in Kerala. We have reached out to district collectors, city mayors and NGOs who support the COVID-19 victims. Our team has received clear requirements from Trivandrum, Kottayam, Idukki, Calicut & Wayanad so far.

2 Oxygen Concentrators, 200 Pulse Oximeters, 3800 Surgical masks, 700 N95 masks, 20 PPE kits, 50 litres of Sanitizer, and 100 medical gloves have already been dispatched to District Collector of Wayanad & Director of Trauma Care Calicut.

However we have been able to meet only a very small portion of the relief requirements. The situation is grave at the moment. We are working on procurement options for a third location. So please continue your contributions – every penny contributed will make a difference.

All donors will receive a detailed report on the items purchased and where they have been delivered and a receipt from Kerala Samajam Munich.

As announced earlier the drive will run only till the 15th.

Easter-Vishu-Eid Celebrations

Kerala Samajam Munich is excited to invite you to the Vishu, Easter, and Eid celebration on 02 May 2021.

This time we have interesting workshops, a quiz competition and fancy dress for children in addition to the cultural shows.
